Hi, I’m Julie
I’m a documentary filmmaker, editor and educator currently residing in the Bay Area. For over a decade I worked as an editor in New York City, searching for the best bagel and contributing to projects for A24, HBO, ABC, Cinereach and others. My editing credits include the documentaries: INSTANT LIFE, AFTER THE BITE, BULLY. COWARD. VICTIM: THE STORY OF ROY COHN, WATERPROOF and more.
As a filmmaker, my work explores the relationship between mental health, nostalgia and the collective American unconscious. I have taught classes in video production, editing and media literacy at Stanford University, DCTV in NY and other schools and organizations. I received my MFA in Documentary Film from Stanford University
