The memory machine explores the concept of climate grief through personal experience and memory and poses the question: is the grief of a changing landscape the same as the grief of losing a loved one? As our outward environment changes due to global warming, inwardly, we are looking to understand what that change means for each of us individually. The memory machine is my own reckoning with this phenomenon.
